The main objective for Gothenburg's participation in Progress is to evaluate the feasiblity of advanced urban road pricing, with regards to user aspects, through a field trial. The Gothenburg trial will not lead an implementation, but serves mainly the purpose of creating knowledge and debate around road user charging and demonstrating new technology.
